Garage floor.
I took this photo at eight ten tonight. So the dusk light makes it look very blue.
We got our garage floor poured today. So I will have a place to put my new BBQ. I say my new BBQ because I will likely be the one cooking on it all the time. "What's that? You want tea? I'll start the BBQ". I digress. This thing is awesome! I couldn't have gotten it without the contributions from my family and friends on my birthday. Thanks guys! I'll cook you up some nice meat slabs next time you come over.
I wanted to put a whole bunch of photos of the inside up at once... However I have decided that I will do it bit by bit as the mood (and then state of the house) strikes me. This is the "Great Room" as Valecraft calls it. We still need end tables to complete the room but we have other priorities for now. People will have to settle for one giant table to put their crap on... As long as they put a coaster under it.
This is the glass block window in our stairwell. It looked cool with a closeup. Sorry. Just imagine the most awesome set of stairs possible. Now tone it down a notch. The most awesome stairs possible were an upgrade we decided we could live without. So we merely have awesome stairs.
