Day at the farm.
Last summer Curtis had asked me if I wanted to go to his Dad's farm so we could explore and shoot at things. We never got around to it last year but we made plans and headed down. It was Curtis, Lisa, Christine and I.
I'd never fired a gun before so I was a little nervous. We were shooting at some water balloons in a sand pit. I must say I did well, I was hitting the ballons from around fifty or so feet away (edit: Curtis tells me it was more like 75 feet. I rule.) while standing to shoot. I think I impressed everyone. Even if they weren't impressed I'll still tell people they were.
Christine being sexy! No photos of me shooting. No one wants to see that shit.
A sixteen gauge shotgun from about 20 feet away. Looks like minor damage...
Until you look inside.
They had me fire it before anyone else so I would be surprised and I must say. I nearly shit myself with glee. I had the butt against my shoulder but I still wasn't prepared for the kick or the sound... wow.
After the ladies went for a canoe... ride? Is that right? They took the canoe out for a spin? They went creek cruising in a canoe. Curtis and I went to have a look at the rapids.
At one point we had to cross the rapids and I had my camera in my backpack so I was scared of falling. I actually scrambled accross with my hands in the water grabbing rocks under the surface so I wouldn't slip and fall in. Falling is would have sucked a lot. It would have sucked to the extreme.
It was a fantastic warm day and I got to learn that video games do indeed make you a better shooter. Thank you Duck Hunt!

You were further than 50 feet away, probably more like 75. Good shooting! I was obviously out of practice, I'm sorry you had to see that.
